I used to wish the phone would ring

Have you ever noticed how it’s your own weakness that invites antagonism? The things you fear most are what will chase you to the ends of the earth. In a dream, once you confront the monster, doesn’t it lose its claws?

I don’t know, but strength improves your armour – it adds a sheen that reflects the sun so brightly, your enemies will think you’re a supernova. And nobody fucks with a supernova.

Damnit, I’ve got a meeting to get to.

Pfft, I refuse to believe it's necessary to watch a Sandra Bullock film for any reason whatsoever. Even film "criticism", or finding the meaning of life.

It would be tragic if one attempted to climb a very tall tree with the intention of screaming out "We're all going to die!!!!" at the top, only to fall to one's death before one reached the summit. You could probably shout out "We're all going" as you fell, but I doubt you could finish the sentence. I would look for a small tree, but the ones at work are far too weedy. Perhaps I could find a small tree, destroy it, and stand on the remains shouting "We're all going to die (especially this tree!!)".

Also, having had one epiphany, what happens if you have a second, contradictory epiphany? It's a worry. Though someone like James Joyce could have 15 or 20 epiphanies per volume of short stories.

Don't mock Heath. Unless you want to mock his British accent in 10 Things I Hate About You.

I'm really getting annoyed with the word verification on your blog comments page.

How was your lunch?

It was bread...and cheese. :( I'll try again next week.

"Do I contradict myself? Very well...I contain multitudes...blah di blah blah...Sandra and Heath, sittin' in a tree, k-i-s-s-we're-all-gonna-die!"

"I contain multitudes"? Bah, being Walt Whitman is worse than being A LIAR! Though I had cheese sandwiches for lunch (but with coleslaw!!!). So there. (Did Heath fall out of a tree?)

Sure, why not. That would explain the painkillers too.
